Any warehouse or distribution centre needs to store goods and stock, and floor to ceiling racking is perfect for this. Health and safety regulations and general good sense mean that fork lift trucks are the most practical way to get stock onto the shelves, especially the higher ones. If the stock is not stored on pallets – for example, long poles or other awkward shapes – then it can be difficult to load items onto the shelves with a fork lift truck, as getting the forks out from under the items without dislodging things onto the floor can be a tricky matter. These fork spacers allow the fork lift operator to slide stock onto racking and then slip the forks of the truck out easily. They are coloured yellow for high visibility and come in a range of sizes to suit all kinds of racking or shelving and different types of products.
