GDPR
The EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) came into force on 25 May 2018 and supersedes the current Data Protection Act 1998. It brings a new range of rights and control over how user's data is used. Organisations are subject to new responsibilities and obligations.
We ensure our employees a fully aware of the new obligations that GDPR introduces and ensure that there is accountability and shared responsibility for ensuring we are compliant.
We only store information for the purpose of conducting business with you and do not sell nor share any data with anybody outside of GB Forklifts Ltd.(see 3rd Parties section).
The information we store is limited to information that you provide to us and we give you the option of how we communicate with you. You can also ask to see the information that we currently store about you and you can ask for removal or amendments if this is wrong.
If we are delivering or collecting products from you we will need to give your name and delivery/pick up address to our chosen couriers or delivery partners. Be aware that such companies also have to comply with GDPR so you can ask for removal or modification of such data as you see fit.
